Headlight troubles
I'm having a little trouble with my right HID, I recently had a new headlight put in and the coulour changing effect is gone (white to purple spectrum). I noticed that the right side lights up the road a little further. Should lowering the right one bring the flickering back? I reaaaallly reaallly miss those flickering lights.
I've searched for HID and lights in the search but It didn't help. Thanks in Advance. HP

Hi BladeS2K:
I suggest you perform a short test yourself:
Put the car about 4-5ft behind a light colored wall and turn on your lights.
Each light has a so called 'staggered' pattern ______|---------
Both lights against the wall should look something like this:
_______|-----------|-------------
This means that both lights are aimed at the same height, but the pattern makes it look that the right lamp is aimed higher than the left (this is a general misconception actually).
Both 'lower lines' of the patterns should be at the exact same height and both 'upper lines' should also be at each other's same hight. If this is not the case, they are mis-aligned <spelling?>.
Any flickering of the lights should NOT be visible when you do this. If it does, go back to the dealer!
Because of the extremely sharp cut-off (staggered) line of the lamp, when driving, the bouncing around of the car and light beams may appear that it changes in color, but this is just the effect of the cut-off and is normal.
Otherwise, maybe you can make a picture of what you see on the wall? Let us know!
Good luck!!
