Default Headlights problem

I have noticed that my headlights do not come off when the engine is turned off. Are you supposed to turn them off manually? I took a little test tthat I turned the engine off but leave the lights on and the key was out. I locked the doors and waited for like 10 mins. And after that, guess what, they did not even come off

You don't have a power inverter connected to a cigarette lighter, etc. do you by chance? I'd freaked myself out once during a trip where I'd had that bugger plugged in and under my seat (to charge camcorder battery, etc.). When I turned my car off & pulled out my keys...my stereo was still playing ooOOOOhhhhcrreeeeepy:

There was nothing connected to output. Is it normal? Something wrong with the electrical?

Do you mean after you turn them off by hand?
I don't know about the 06, but I know on my 02 you have to turn them on by hand, so obviously you have to turn the switch back to 'off' to get them to turn off when you don't want them on. Did this change with the AP2

I don't have an MY 06 and know only a few of the differences, but when you say "you guys know new cars right?" Do you mean the 06 S2000 or new cars in general? I was unaware the headlights had changed in the MY 06. I know that if I leave my lights on and remove the key from the ignition, the car beeps a warning tone.

realy? My car does not beep like that. The Acura that i have is like the lights are automatically off in few seconds when I turn off the engine, remove the keys, and lock the doors, But my S does not. I have to turn the lights off manually
