HeadOn with CLK 430
A 2 week old silver CLK 430 and my S2K met headon on a blind hairpin turn on Descending Drive. I was going less than 20mph; we both braked when we saw each other but were too close and hit. No airbags deployed. The hit was on my side of the very narrow road (like 1 3/4 or less lane). After CHP arrived, I was able to drive my car home the 1/2 mi but will have it towed to repair facility tomorrow.
I usually use Greg's Autobody in Santa Fe Springs, but anyone know a good place that takes insurance?
The Merc owner is a friend of my neighbors who were in the car.

Stuff happens, huh?

Glad your OK. I also have Merc. Ins. and they've been good. Just make sure you have the repairs from a body shop you can trust (ie. recommended by Honda)...not necessarily what Merc. recommends.

sorry to hear about your headon with the merc. glad to know your ok. as for body shops, ive taken my cars to collision masters in fullerton past several times. they did a good job with my '94 325i when rearended on two separate occasions.
Oh no! So sorry to hear about that and like the others say, I'm glad you're ok!!! I'm sad for your awesome car though, I hope she gets back to 100% soon!
When I drove up there to your place and saw how narrow the two-way roads were, I couldn't help but wonder how the residents of that area don't go colliding into each other on a daily basis.... Sorry to hear that line of thinking wasn't far off!
