That really sucks. I don't know if this helps, but...

My wife took her Accord to Marcos autobody and they did a real good job. They have locations in Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Gabriel, and may have others. I also like Superior PV who also takes insurance claims and are in Rosemead.

Best of luck to you!

Sorry to hear about your rotten luck, doc. Too bad you can't operate on her so she'd be back on her tires in no time.

Prolene, sorry to hear that...I'm glad you are OK. Good luck with the insurance. Is this your 1st bad luck in the year of snake?

At least nobody was hurt. Good luck on getting your insurance repairs. I hope that it's not too troublesome.

I Can't believe it??!!! I just saw your car the other day! Geez, that's terrible.....I'm sorry to hear abou that. Glad to hear you're okay though. You might want to try McCurdy's in Pasadena. I hear they are a very reputable shop and do good work. Good luck Prolene and I hope she's better than new when they're done.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! I suppose and hope the S2K will get back to essentially original condition except for VIN numbers. I hope under hood stickers can be ordered as well.

The Mercedes looked much worse, although my car looks like serious damage.

The other driver said his brakes weren't working so he put on his emergency brake. Perhaps he is unaware of how anitilock brakes work. It did seem his car kept coming; but I think my car was just barely near a stop when he hit me.

I'll have the emblems left off the fenders and hood after repair.

SteveUCI, that particular corner is bad. Very narrow with no center line. The other guys said accidents happen there a lot. I usually take that corner way off to the right compared to how the Merc was cutting it, but the CHP said even so it would be tough to assign blame.

Silver, yes I think someone else mentioned McCurdys before! Thanks.

Silver, I did a search and saw you wanted a repair facility as well. Have you used one yet?

Im sorry to hear about your mishap. Glad you're OK. As I just got rear ended, I know how you feel. Make sure you demand Honda OEM parts. The guy who hit me has Nationwide and they have all this BS on their estimate about generic parts only. WTF???

Al,

Sorry to hear about your accident. I sent you an e-mail with the bodyshop in San pedro that's authorized to fix S2K's. I'm glad you're alright. I can meet you down at the body shop, if you decide to take it there.

Good luck with the repairs.
