Default Heater vent problem

I recently try to install a vent mount for my phone but was haven't a hard time getting it secured. Now the back piece that holds the vent's movement to left and right has been semi-detached. How can I unclip the centre dash piece to reach behind the vent to reconnect the plastic bridge.

you need to removed the screw above the cluster, and a few others. it has been a little while, but it is spelled out in the helms. you can only pull it so far without disconnecting everything, but you should be able to get it out far enough. good luck.

Can you post a pic of how to pull out the vent piece as I don't have access to any Helm manual. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing...read the title and wondered, "which ones are the heater vents?" I had to open the thread so I could find out.
