Default DIY removal?(pics)

ok so I'm tying to mount this switch for my fog lights. I'm gonna mount it in that spare hole opposite of the cruse control button on the dash. Is it possible to just pop out the cap? if so how? or do i have to remove the whole surround thingy. if so how? any help is appreciated
here's some pics

no im pretty certain you dont want to pry them off! You WILL scratch them good. You have to pop the trim peice off and push it ouw from back. There could possibly be a screw or two holding it in too so i would take that route IMO!

i wouldnt know... i have a button there but it just seems like you pry em off every other car... prolly coz i've had old ass cars x.x

btw a good way to pry stuff off without scratching the surface is to wrap your flathead with some kinda cloth

Did you ever consider using an OEM defroster button for the fogs? Or if you have an AP-2 center console you could have mounted that OEM (looking) switch in there.
