Default Heating functions

Ok... so I just got my S2K on saturday and the dealer didn't have any owner's manuals and I was curious about something...

On the heating selection... there is one option that has a pic of the S with an arrow pointing from the front to the back inside the car... what does it do? what's the purpose of it?

the function of this is that the heating/air cond will come out of the footwell vent and the vent just above the cd player. useful if your smoking a cigarette, if you have the top vents on while you smoke it blows the ash into your eyes as you drive!

Oh ok... I thought it was specific to when you have the top down and you want to contain the heat within the car... but when the top vents are blowing, it feels much warmer than that one option.

Brand new S2000 and the dealer didn't have or give you an owner's manual?

That's inexcusable. The deliver process includes a little familiarization with the basic functions of the car. It also includes the handing over of all sorts of documents, one of these being the owner's manual. It should have all come in a document folder. Go back and demand it. (Or it could be in your secret compartment and the dumbasses didn't know where that is.)

Totally different concept. A NEW car should be delivered with an owner's manual.
