Default helms manual for MY06/07?

i'd like to start doing my own oil changes and other maintenance work on my S2000 so i don't have to give it over to a dealer a couple times a year. does anyone have any advice on what exactly to buy from www.helminc.com?

2000-2007 service manual? that looks like that'll fit the bill but i just want to make sure. for $75 it'll pay for itself after an oil change.

I'm going through the same thought process. My only further thought was that, if there were any errors in the '07 manual, the '08 manual might have corrected them. Of course, I have no reason to believe that there were any errors in the '07 manual!

I suspect the 2000-2007 manual will be just fine. (I noticed that the 2000-2008 manual is $125. Dunno why it would be more expensive.)

The latest one is always a bit more expensive.

To quote Nigel Tufnel, it's one better, isn't it? I agree, though -- the marginal cost is pretty high for an imagined issue.

the only difference is the 2008 contains info specific to the CR.

2000- 2006/2007 will contain everything you need.

It's cheaper to find it online and download the pdf version.

I have never seen an online version that contains 04+ info.

As the models cahnge from year to year, the manual gets thicker. The 02 manual is about 2" thick and the 06 manual is about 3" thick. I would expect the 08 manual to be about 3.5" thick.

Your cheapest option is to find a prior year's manual being sold on e-Bay. Many dealers just toss them as the new ones replace the old. The tech grab them up and sell them on e-Bay.
