my oil filter will not come out. i've spent two days trying to get it out.. my oil filter wrench is almost broken... my hands are extremely sore... don't know what else i can do to get it out... i must get it out tonight!!

 

i believe the dealership sells some kind of tool that takes it out. Good luck... mine was a pita to get out as well and i need to get some help to remove it.

 

Stab it with a screwdriver

 

Punch a screwdriver through it and use it as a handle.

You do know leftie loosie right..........

 

Under the theory that metal expands with heat, warm the engine then pour a small amount of cool water over the filter. Hopefully the slight contraction of the filter will allow for removal.

 

go to autozone and buy the pliers with teeth... worked very well for my stubborn oil filter remova. cost about 16 bucks.
