Default help with aem v2 please. read the diy already.

i just got a aem v2 from a local guy and was wondering if i was suppsoed to get any hoses?

i took out the stock intake already and the pipe to the TB dont match up with the tube coming out of the engine. and looking at the DIY it seems like he had replacement lines rather than the metal ones.

and if i do go buy the lines i replace metal tubes exactly the way its setup right now right??

cuz ive read ppl getting cel by getting lines mixed up. so im curious if i have to reroute the wires, or just replace each hose 1 at a time. which in that case, wouldnt be too difficult to get things mixed up

Should have a 3/4" (approx) hose that goes from the top of the intake to the valve cover and some much smaller vacuum lines to replace hte hard lines. You can leave the hard lines and just do the larger in the mean time (I've done that b/c I didn't have vacuum lines).

IMO, i think the AEM V2 really helps with heat soak, but its still there. power wise not much difference but over all i think its a good upgrade

I'm running a short ram and can feel the heat soak if driving for a while...IMHO, worth it for overall fun, sound and looks....plus better MPG on the highway for my daily commute.
