The Muz mirror is a Honda part and replaces your driver's side mirror. Best safety mod I have done to my car (actually the only one).

Your side mirrior should be a continuation of your rear view. It should be placed directly in your blind spot. When a car passes you it should leave your rear view mirrior and enter your side mirrior at the same time. If a car is next to you you do not need your mirrior to see it you can simply look to the side.

I can't understand why more people don't do this. I have a pickup with a contractor's cap with no side windows and there is no blindspot with the mirrors set this way. Set up my S the same way---absolutely no blindspot!

Here's a link with a good description and pictorial on how to setup mirrors:

If you are tall and must have the seat in the full aft position, no amount of tweaking is going to eliminate the blind spot. The Muz mirror is convex, it is the passenger mirror for RHD S2000's. This by far the best upgrade I have made to my car.

Thanks everyone! I am going to do some more research. . . I'll let you know what I find. . . .

BTW, the car in the website video looks like an S2000. . .. http://www.lanefx.com/about/

so it must work well on this car in particular. . .

One last thing. . . the website claims it tilts your mirrors down (like in the TL) http://www.lanefx.com/ParkFX/

Check out the group buy forum, S2X sells poly convex mirrors that are tinted. No blind spots for me anymore!

They are stick on for easy install.

Now I have 100% visibility of the car next to me, when the back half of the car is still visible in the mirror, I can usually see their front bumper. I still glance over to see if someone in changing lanes into the same lane as me. Or I pull forward a little bit so I can see over to the next lane. The tint helps out a lot at night too!

From what I can tell, the "lanefx" product only moves your mirror as far as will normally go anyway. For most drivers of S2000s, this won't be enough on the driver's side mirror (no need to worry about the pass. side since it's already convex). The OEM RHD, left side convex mirror is the best way to go.
BTW, all the mirrors at your disposal should be set in such a way as to see the most panoramic view possible. Why set them so that they overlap and you see the same thing in more than one mirror? This becomes a driver fault, not an equipment fault.

100%... I'm relatively tall and with the seat all the way back, and driver's side mirror all the way to the left I still see the side of the car. Got OEM Honda LH convex mirror from Muz, NO MORE BLIND SPOT!

I'm tall, and yes, the drivers side blind spot is a royal PITA. But here's something I've found works "very" well for me!

Lean forward a little, then turn your head and LOOK!

I have missed traffic on my side trying to rely on the mirrors. I keep them out as far as possible by the way. But I've never missed traffic, so far, by simply leaning forward a little and looking back. It might be a feel awkward at first but it works. The add on stuff is great, it will definitely help. Use it if you want to but remember, there's no substitute for good ol one-on-one contact with the eyeball!

The good Lord put our heads on a swivel for a reason, use it!

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

With the Muz mirror the blind spot is not a PITA.
