Agree with cdelena on all accouts. You're probably adding to much steering input, also, returning to stock springs and ride height will definitely cause you to notice the body roll more (the aftermarket springs were stiffer right - lower ride height should equal stiffer rates and the lower center of gravity lowers body roll all else being equal). I recently took my other car back to stock, and it's fairly stiff by non sporty car standards yet the body roll now appears to be insane - well until I drive rentals.

personally i think the body roll on S2000 is totally fine..
it also gives u the fun of drifting a little bit..
and on auto cross or small coarses u kind of want it to kick out a little when u turn into the corners..
i don't think it's a big problem.. just have to get used to it.. and know what to do with it..
then that will become a help..
but i have to agree with u .. body roll is not good...
but i think the body roll on S2k is still totally acceptable...
very good handling car for sure

It doesn't even sound like we are talking about body roll here as much as snap oversteer induced by quick changes in inputs. Try to be more smooth first and see if that helps before spending money.

PS: STB's make good places to rest your hand while working on your car..that's it. The X-brace is a different story.

better get rid of yours then...

I think (only my interpretation) that the feel of less body roll is what he's looking for.
They made the chassis more predictable, but didn't reduce the body roll.

Actually, that's right, was the original poster referring to body roll, of which the S2000 has fairly little for a street car, or oversteer?

Smooth works wonders with this car. Smoother = faster.

reminds me on people on the freeway. They turn so abruptly, like every lane change is an emergency procedure. Try to keep your acceleration in one direction. Think of water flowing. It always flows faster if it goes straighter or if turns are more sweeping, rather then quick and sharp. This is just one of the things about driving. You have to understand the quickest, least stressful(to your car) way through a turn. This car has excellent balance and you should have a great deal of trouble out driving this car.

Here's a good question: How do you hold the steering wheel? It may sound pretty basic, but it's a tremendous factor in how you can handle your car. More mods will not correct improper driving habits.

hmm... let me soak in this driving talk. i know that im not an expert driver by my standards. its probably from the car being higher now.

forgive me for my mistake of saying body roll because the problem is actually the snap oversteer. i never had a problem with it before but maybe its because i raised it back up and i have to get used to it again. i have to go to work now but thank for all the comments. the cure for snap oversteer is probably going to come from me and learning better technique. it just scares the living shit out of me when i dont want the car to go the other direction.

Heavy roll bars (anti-sway) front and rear. I have the Comptech adj front and 30mm Mugen rear bar. Very little roll.

You may even want to try adding a little more air in the tires. I found that the with the rears at 32, they felt too soft and squishy for me, I bumped them to 34 cold and the car feels better.
