As I said, I like the way it is, but if I were to change it like you want to I would either go all silver or gloss black w/ polished lip.

i say leave the lip polished with matte/satin black.. glossy really makes most wheels look cheapish.. my 2 cents..

Silver or gun metal would look good. The gold doesn't work with yellow.
