Yes. By the way, you can also tell if your tires are bald just by lookin', and the tires are usually more accessable.

yes, the rear simply slides out
by the way, does anyone know if the dealer will charge for the spring spacer checkup?

a "PDI" stands for "Pre Delivery Inspection"
this is done just before, say a day or hours before a new car is picked up by its new owner at the dealership We did/do these everyday, when i worked for a local Porsche/Audi dealership.
And i belive the spring spacers shouldve been removed during PDI. If they havent, notify your local dealer...

Usually $459.96 plus labor and spacer disposal fee.

I'd have them check the tread on the rear tires first. This usually runs less than $200.00 due to their easier access. However, if the tires are worn out, the tire disposal fee is higher than the spacer disposal fee.
