Gang,

Any help in finding a yellow stook located in some northeast dealership. Considering trading in.

The problem with all those S2000 is that they are 5 speeds, not 6.

turbo_pwr,

Do you live in Brooklyn?

I grew up in Marine Park.

A long time ago I had a really bad time with Plaza Honda. My sister in-law wanted to buy a car but didn't know what options she wanted. The salesman told her to sign the contract to freeze the car price and to come back and he would give her a deal on the options (she wanted what I had purchased previously), big mistake.

Net is when I went back with her, he was charging more than list for the options. Net is there was almost a brawl in the managers office and she got 15% off.

This was a long time ago though.

Actually, I bought mine from them last year for $500 under MSRP. But I went to High School with the salesman so he gave me a deal. He doesn't work there anymore so I don't really know what they offer on their cars. I have lived in Manhattan, and currently reside in Queens. I have heard good and bad things about that dealership so I would think it would be dependent on the salesman.

Yellow, the dealership is not to bright they also listed the car they sold me as a 6speed on my registration.

Paragon Honda also had one on their lot last week when I drove by.
(718) 507-5000
I was going to buy from them last year until I got the other deal.

Doug, have you tried this list of dealers? https://www.s2ki.com/dealerships/
They all sell for MSRP

Herson's Honda, Rockville, MD (Washington, DC metro area) has a yellow on the showroom floor.

301-279-8600

They basically sell at list, but they add stuff to the car you may or may not want (trunk cargo net, rear spoiler, etc.) to bump up the total cost. I think the car on the floor has $3-4K of options.

Maybe you can find a local dealer that can do a swap with them.

question about trading in: I've noticed a couple people have traded in for a MY 2001. What kind of loss do you expect when you do that. After all my problems with mine MY2000, I'd feel more comfortable with a 2001. Question would be yellow or silver?
