Default Help in floida Invidia exhaust!

I was driving in orlando with my new invidia exhaust and was pulled over and told that I cant replace exhaust with ANY EXHAUST that is louder than stock.I looked up the florida staue and it does refere to decible limits. In court would this really hold up.I mean I do know that my exhaust is very loud but how can an officer prove this in court for this to be louder than stock? What about bikes and commercial trucks etc. Should I take this to court? Does anyone have any expirenece with this in the past or know anything of this.

We discussed this in the Florida S2ki forum...bottom line, the statue goes beyond the db levels. The cop is right, you can't replace the exhaust with one that is louder than stock.

So I should go back to stock everything to avoid tickets/harassment?

I wonder, is that totally up to the cop to decide? For instance, I have the Fujisubo which is VERY similiar to stock Decible levels with just a deeper tone. If I were to get a ticket, would I have to get a decible meter to fight it? Just curious.
