cant really tell if there spray painted or powdercoated but, if you have never painted i wouldnt risk it on a set of s2000 wheels. i think powdercoating is 100 a wheel maybe a little more or less. If you have experience with spray paint and know what your doing you can easily paint em like that. The pics too far away to tell if there glossy or flat i cant really tell

I've seen people paint and coat their wheels - the final look is the same, but paint will chip and get scuffed off easily. PC is more durable.

i have been painting wheels for idk about 6 years and i've never had a wheel chip ever. If you know what your doing its a big difference in spending 30 bucks compared to a couple hundred.

prep work make the difference, there's so many detail about painting anything, that a novice diyer will not know all of them.

if you know how to prep a car for paint job, you can make rattle can a wheel finish that will last you a long long time. some people think a rattle can job can't be gloss or durable, it is not true at all. it all depends on the quality of work.

powdercoating runs you about 50 perwheel, on top of that you have to mount the tires again, that's another 50-60 bucks right there.

don't get me wrong, there's some PC guy that does amazing work but when you PC'ing a wheel you are taking a risk on harming the structural integrate of the wheel. There's cases of broken wheel on track because PC process.

It depends on where you are at as to how much the paint will chip. I have had mine painted for 11K miles and the only time they have chipped is when I had to put on new tires. Even then, its on the very edge and is an easy fix with some touch up paint.
