Default Spray paint off wheels

Hey yall, so the guy who had my S before me pray painted the wheels black. I plastidipped them when I got it to make them look more smooth all around but now I would like to go back to the normal silver wheels with no paint, I looked online and it seemed the best way was to put aircraft paint removed on them, so I peeled the plastidipped off and put the remover on the spray paint and it worked ok, but I'll have to do another coat tomorrow to finish it. Anyway, was this a good decision and also if the clear coat comes off what is my best option. I only did one wheel to see how it worked, so if I f@#ked it up it wouldn't be that bad. Anyway thanks for any comments

Aircraft is some potent stuff I would have stuck with thinner and a brush unless you plan on redoing the wheels I used sircraft on a set of rays I was having done anyways and it killed the original finish by the time it was said and done./

Honestly, I would have peeled the plasti dip off with a microfiber and patience. To remove spray paint, use denatured alcohol to get the black spray paint off (assuming the previous owner didn't lay a coat of clear down). IT'S GOING TO TAKE A LONG TIME. But denatured alcohol is the safest thing to use on a part that has a clear coat. If that doesn't work, I would switch up to acetone.
