Default help me!

Hey I was just wondering how to go about transfering a lease into someone elses name.. I'm wanting to get rid of my S and I don't know how to go about switching names on it. It's through American Honda Finance, so any and all help will be appreciated!!!

Honda Finance does not allow this. Ever. Period. You'll need to sell it and have them refinance it through a bank or credit union

honda DOES allow.. there is a small fee.. the other party must qualify.. BUT.. here is the catch.

you will still be named as lesee.. ?lesoor.. ?

you are still on the hook..

talk to your honda dealer.. they could do it as a trade and sell it to the new buyer.. for a small fee..

that is how i got out of the Element that i had.. My buddy wanted it.. but i like him.. but.. didn't want to be on the lease..
if you sell it to him.. the title will come in your name when it is paid off..then you must do the dmv fees.. to get a new title.. then sell it to him .. and then .. HE must pay fees too...

sux..

glad my dealer is a buddy..
he did the entire deed for $ 250 to cover his B&O taxes in our city.

Right - only certain leasing companies will allow you to fully transfer. It all has to do with the lease agreement you signed. I'm sure it clearly states what you can and cannot do with transferring your lease. All lease companies allow you to somewhat transfer it; unfortunately most leave you on the hook as stated before
