I prefer the yellow.

White would be my second choice.

Black would be my third.

get a black...
lower it and stick 18" chromies on it!

then get the plate SEX2000!

u will score all the ladies because your wife will never want to be seen in it, let alone take your car out to drive!

Get the silver, since you have 2 silvers (obviously you have a thing for silver), why not another one?

I think red will only look good on a bigger car, like a Ferrari or a Porsche.

If you can stand the blue interior, of course, I would recommend you to get the blue since everyone will know that you have a 2002. Plus it is a metallic color, kind of similar to your other two silver cars.

Well, my wife has agreed to the yellow or white. My dealer will let me pick my color but I have to let him know soon.

I want to keep my S2K stock so if I decide on the white exterior
then I will "adjust" to the red interior. The Spa Yellow does grow on you over time so maybe my wife will come to tolerate it.
I hope the "red" interior grows on me as well if I decide on white.
Is resale easier with white or yellow?

I like silver. My wife's new Odyssey on order (2002) is silver and my primary car (M-B '00E430 Sport) is Brilliant Silver. But, I do not want all three to be silver. My new S2K is going to be Spa Yellow or White.

Local dealers did confirm White is more "rare" than Spa Yellow.
Silver and Black exterior remain the most popular colors.

I just bought a '01 silver / black. I wanted silver / red, but one could not be found in the six-states surrounding (so they say, but I generally distrust car salesmen, because well... they're car salesmen). The red leather won't get as hot in the sun, but the black interior is more sophisticated, albeit less sporty in appearance.

As for exteriors, I agree with Bullit, Silver has a strong "heritage." Silver is my favorite and looks good with low maintenance. Black looks sweet if it is in pristine shape, but there goes the lower maintenance. Yellow is really hot. The shape jumps out at me; however, I can't help but think, "will it still be hot in 5 years?" (assuming I still have it in 5 years, of course.) The white I waffle on... It has the red interior... but doesn't it look a bit feminine, like The Barbie-mobile? And lastly the red, which is a feast for the cones, but as the cones are busy feasting, the contours of the car become blunted. I like black and silver exteriors the best. These are just my opinions... I could be wrong.

Can the interior leather be changed in color?? I saw some mention of this. Tell me it's true! If I get more than one third degree ass-burn from the black leather, I'd like to go with a beige leather like my old silver 300Z had (always stayed cool and looked nice).

Leon,

The interior leather can be changed. There are pictures of people that have done this already in the Photo Gallery section. I'm not sure how much it costs, but I think the person that did this did post a price.

I started out with silver/red on the brain. I called a dealer here in Raleigh, NC and they had just unloaded one off of the truck. Still had the plastic and all. I told the man that I would be there in 20 min. and by the time I got up there another salesman had sold the car. To make a long story short, I finally found a black/red in another county, and I like it better. The only thing that annoys me is that the black shows all the dirt, dust, etc...
