Thanks for the input. I am going with the Spa Yellow with black interior. Dealer wants $500.00 non-refundable deposit on the car when 2002 S2000 prices are released. My price is MSRP.

Before attacking the dealer you should know he has agreed to waive all dealer fees and prep fess which comes to about $400.00
Also, I am second on his list for a S2000 and he expects 15 this model year.

Have you noticed that all S2000 engine block is red? Red for racing and sporty.

Hey guys Red is a nice color. I agree red is a true sports car color.
But for me, yellow looks cool and different. I have always wanted a yellow color.

As for Red, I prefer a darker shade of Red than the current S2K Red. The M-B SLK offers a dark red I really like and would buy on the S2000.

Upon introduction of the car at the auto shows I think the color for the intro was red. Ferrari did the same on the Modena and the Barchetta.
Red both and every time.

I agree with you, silverstone is the shiznick(sp??). I may be a bit biased, I've owned 3 in that color!
I tend to side w/ your wife on the yellow. It's bold and clean but I'm not sure I could wake up to it every day.
After spending a weekend with other owners @ s2k days in Asheville, I must admit, I have a new found respect for the Red.
It's a very nice red, almost laquer like. Red w/ black would probably be my choice if I lived in FL. Black would just be too damn hot, especially w/ black interior. Red interior... looks like a crime scene to me!
Whatever color you get, you are going to love this car!!!
enjoy
