Help with my rear defroster?

Default Help with my rear defroster?

my rear defroster isnt working... i have a MY02.. it used to work.. and it just doesnt work anymore for some reason... i havent done anything to the car.. anybody??

Does the light on the defrost button light up? Did you check the connection to the defroster near the rear window? That could have come loose.

light does come up.. i havent checked the connection.. where exactly is the connection??

If you're in the car looking back at the rear window, I believe it's in the lower right hand corner of the window.

Also, check the fuse for it under the hood.

If you don't find a problem with any of those things, you'll have to try to diagnose it with an electrical tester or get someone to look at it.

If it's not the connection...Listen closely when you push the button. You should hear a "click" in the fuse box. It's the electric relay engaging. I'm pretty sure it's the fuse box inside the car. There's another one in the engine bay; listen there too.

If you don't hear a "click" your relay could be out. They're cheap to replace. Of course, I wouldn't know which one it is.
