Please help me! I am tying to buy a 2000 Honda S2000.
the owner told me it was in one fender bender 6 months ago and he has the information of the mechanic shop that fixed it. he said it was all plastics. the VIN number is

JHMAP114XYT098929


I would greatly appreciate this!!!!

There's usually someone over on SupraForums that runs VIN checks. I posted the VIN over there. No guarantees, but I'll PM you if/when it happens.

this is just a guess here....

dealers who run these vin's for "civilians" are probably violating their user agreement with carfax. i may be wrong, but this is probably why they sell limited subscriptions to people over the phone and internet.

i'm no fan of how they represent their product, but it sure does seem like people are abusing their agreements IN A PUBLIC FORUM that can easily be monitored by carfax and their lawyaers.

sorry for the hijack, but just wanted to point this out.
