HELP: Need to find out the correct way to get my passenger seat out
To make a long story short....I gotta clean under the seat. I had a bottle with a protein shake under there....forgot it was there...well it leaked...and it smells like $hit. I need to get the seat out...so I can get all the carpet out. I don't want to take the bolts off the rails if possible. Someone know how to do this? Thanks.

Yeah, I don't know either....that is why I wanted to find out. I had just heard somethings for safety reasons you need to put thread lock back on the bolts.

hecash,
just for your info, instead of re-posting, you can just edit your original post by clicking on the edit/delete icon in the upper right portion of your original post. Don't ask me how I know this, but I've used it several times to correct my original posts. I've found it's quicker, easier, and saves the embarrassment of a re-post.
Hopefully this is new info that I thought you might like to know.

after the re-install, did any of you experience a problem with the 'pins' from the locking mechanism not aligning properly with the rails?
the reason i ask is i recently had the seatbelt recall done on my car. the drivers seat does not 'lock' into place unless i pull myself forward using the steering wheel . . . at that point the pins lock into place (audible). i brought the car back, the dealer indicated that the bolts were 'torqued' to factory specifications and that this was common. any thoughts?
any input would be appreciated.
