I actually just got back from talking with tim at his shop. He's a really cool guy. Great products, not the cheap shit you see all over the net. The sides of the lip "snap" onto the sides of the lower bumper and the tape secures it to the bumper. This is all that is needed, however, you can add additional tape just to be sure.....paint it before you install it, it will look much better that way.

You should be able to get double sided tape at wal-mart or at any autozone or the like... Just make sure it is high grade and very strong. As far as the side skirts, I'm not so sure. Is this front lip fiberglass or eurethane? fiberglass requires bolts, eurethane tapes on.

In my opinion, I would have have a body shop do everything! I have airwalker sides and front lip and a rear valance... it looks easy on paper but if you want it looking professional and im sure you do get someone in the know to do it for you. I paid approx 1100 total for paint and installation and the look is seamless good luck

I bought my kit from Tims2k and the urethane pieces needed extensive sanding as there were a multitude of pin sized holes in the pieces (inherent in aftermarket knockoffs). some of the edges were rough and needed fine tuning as well. the guy really tood his time for a perfect fitment of the pieces. they are taped and he actually made a lip underneath the rear valance so it wouldnt move... they are also screwed in where the edges roll at the end... the biggest problem you're going to have is matching the color unless you have it "blended" with the rest of the paint. He did a good job matching on mine... I think it's important (at least it was for me), to pay someone to do it. I spent alot on this car and I didnt wanna go cheap trying to fit it. Trust me... it is soooo well worth the $$ to get it done right

Same here with the knock off. I got the AW sides and the fitment and quality was bad. I was actually better off selling it and buying real ones. The sides are bolted in the fender wells using the holes there from the lining. The rear wheel well needed new holes punched. I dont have a AW rear, but mine is screwed in on the edges of the bumper also in the wheel well.

you got ass raped with $1100 for paint and install...you kno what you counld have spent that on? Your money, so whatever, but that seems like alot just to say you had it "professionally installed". anyone with little skill at all can install these things and make them look just as good

yes he did get these from me. even though they are urethain i would MAKE SURE it's secure. and imho 20 dollars in screws and what not is better then $225 flying off your car. i would say 4 screws for each side skirt. that is just what i would do
