Default Help removing rick's steering wheel badge...

I removed the badge, but what can i use to remove the cement crap left on the steering wheel? i emailed rick a few weeks ago, but haven't recieved a reply back. can anyone help? thanks.

Whatever you used to "glue" it into place, should have a recomended solvent listed on the package. What did you use?

Contact cement should be removable with paint thinner. Note: read the label, it has cleanup direction on it. Mine has thinner, so I assume your does too.

Stratocaster has it right. Lacquer thinner should work too. But before using any solvent, try it out on a small hidden area first.

Usually the contact cement also be removed by rubbing vigoroulsy and repeatedly with a small piece of cloth or even your fingers. It does not stick very well to vinyl.
