Help With Security System Please
hey guys i just got my used and salvaged in the rear 02 s2000. its all fixed and all good now. i just got my previous car, 00 integra gsr stolen in front of my house in the middle of the day where lota ppl are walking and driving by all within an hour or two. so im really kina paranoid. and i think im going to be exposed to even more car theives for the next few years.. so any advice for me??
right now i don have insurance so it just sits in garage.. with just a pedal lock club thing... i was thinking of gettting a real dark tint, lo jack, good alarm system.. so can anybody recommend a good alaram system with motion detector and pager system? and about lo jack.. do they have alarm system or some sort also?
wat else is there to make the car the toughest the steal other than just being careful and watch out for ppl?

I don't see too many stolen S2000's. Mainly reports of vandalism and theft of seats and accessories.
What to watch out for:
1. Theft of antenna, shift knob and emblems
2. Theft of seats
3. Slashed top (usually goes with #2)
The OEM honda alarm only checks the doors and trunk and has a glass breakage sensor. Someone could (theoretically) slash the top and climb in and take whatever they wanted and the alarm would never sound. Because of this, you would want a proximity sensor that would detect anyone reaching into the car. There are many aftermarket solutions for alarms that do this.
Finally, a hard top helps a lot too.
