Got a quote from them for $1575.00 shipping from Boston area to San Jose, CA in an Enclosed Carrier. There are many companys out there that will ship in an OPEN carrier for around 800.00 to 1000.00. I decided to go with Enclosed due to the nasty weather in the east cost. A little paint damage will cost me $500.00 deductable to fix from my insurance company. What is another $500.00 for a piece of mind that my Brand New S2000 with be in perfect shape when i get to California.

This is good information for anyone planning to buy car from another state. Especially folks from California that beening raped by the dealers here.

I know it's not the same distance but I got a quote for shipping from Houston to Florida for $450. $1,500 seems high. I checked my emails to see the companies name/web site, but the reply emails don't have any company name or information. I'll see if I can find it on the web.

Just make sure you have covered protection; usually they charge you a little extra, but better safe than sorry
