update:

spoke to the attorney today...I did very little talking...what he said in a nutshell: the dealer violated more than a few federal and state laws including voilations on the content on the forms they provided me. Most importantly though he said they broke our contract and that I have a right to damages...numbers were much higher than I ever thought.

I'll keep you guys posted and update as I get the notes from our conversation and can explain the violations better.

Seriously, I've read this whole thread and I want most to congratulate you on your new car. The enjoyment of it will overshadow the unhappiness of this experience. BTW, I was most fond of our Silverstone, it was our first and I loved that color!

Ummmm....another consideration....certain lawyers aren't any more trust worthy than car dealers. Be careful about putting to much trust in them. Of course they're going to *SAY* that it's worth big money but you may never see that much....it all depends.
