Default HELP taking bumper off please...

I went by Rick's instructions. I am putting in a CAI. We have all 18 bolts off and it is just being held on by the hooks under the head lights. But Rick's says to just tug at it and it will come off. We have been doing more than tugging and it wont come off. Any suggestions?

You can "help" it along if you examine how those little bumps hold the bumper in place. Look between the bottom of the headlight and where the bumper goes in. Use a flashlight and pull down on the bumper a bit to see. If you put a thin screwdriver in there and pry the back of the bumper over the little bumps and yank, they'll come off. I just got fed up with it and gave it one helluva good yank and it pops off. If this is too scary for you, use the screwdriver method.

BTW, you can do this CAI without taking the bumper off.

To help others I will throw in my .02. I took mine off 2 weeks ago and as Xviper said I just gave it a good yank and it popped off. I think the post 04's may be a little tougher.

I was yanking the you know what out of it and it wouldnt budge. I was too afraid of breaking it that I just gave up. I did see the spot you are talking about though, to put the screwdriver.
