Default Help, Which of these 2 would you buy?

Which is a better deal if I keep car for 2 years. New 2005 Silver w/red/black for $28,500 + $1700 tax or 2004 6k miles same colors $25,000 + $1,000 tax. I am trying to think of future depreciation. wear on tires, breaks, tranny & warranty plus value of being original owner. What do you think the cost of ownership for both will be for 2 years. Help I can't decide.

Well, for my situation, I could have bought a used s2k a lonnnnng time ago, but I opted to wait for the right time and when I saved enough to buy a new one. I dreamed of this car for years and I didn't want one that was ragged out by a previous owner, thus I could only buy new...by the time I was ready to buy, they lowered the redline , I couldn't be happier knowing that my car is taken care of the way I want and not a chance that it was wrecked (I never understood people selling a car they bought new, with less than 10k on the odo, unless it was wrecked, having a baby, etc.)

choice is yours tho

new car. especially if you are financing, you can get a better rate.

I bought a 96 impala when they were hot with 8k miles. ended up having front end damage and other hidden things. not worth a couple grand to me.

You should be able to get the 04 cheaper. Also, work harder on getting the 05 for less.
