Help With Tint Problem.

amonia from your local supermarket will remove it - this is how they do it in most car detailing shops.

I've never done it but I remember hearing that you only have to completely wet the window with water then cover with a piece of plastic film (maybe Saran wrap?) and allow to soak for a while. Remove the plastic film and the tint film should peel right off. Simple and worth a try befor taking more drastic measures.

You could go to a tint shop or some cleaners remove it. Just look it up online...it's suppose to be a simple process.

My pro tint guy will be here within the hour to redo my tint i will post and let you know how he strips off my old tint when its done.

ok straight from the tint guy, soak it hard with soapy water realy soak it than place a black bag over it and stick it in the sun so it gets good and hot that grab a corner of the tint and give it firm tugs. Once you tug it once or twice and the tint is started give it a firm yank and it will come off glue and all.

He says he does em all the time and the secret is to get them hot in the sun as this heats and loosens the glue.

use a heat gun it will all come off and just clean the little bit of residue of with any window cleaner..i had to do this because i recently bought my s2k and 4 days later got a tint ticket (it came with the front windshield tinted) trust me it was very easy to remove
