Help on touching up a tiny paint chip...
Hi...
Sad to report that I have a very tiny (2-3mm) paint chip on the top of my front 3/4 panel. The strange thing is that it's located at the non-road facing side (i.e. not forward) of the quarter panel. I have no idea how a rock/stone can hit there.
Hmmm... How strange. Hope my paint is not falling off.
Anyway, it is in fact down to the base metal (I can see grey flat metal underneath), so I need to fill it with touch up paint. Anyone have a good technique to filling this thing that you can share with me?
I really need some help because the last thing I want to do is have a big filler paint blob ruining the finish of my car.
Thanks in advance for any advice. -KM.

There is a paint pen that I got from someone on this board. Works pretty good. It is the same touch-up paint that the dealer sells. The pen has a fine point and allows only a small amount of paint to be applied at a time. Look for it. I forgot what it is called.
i bought a wax detail kit for deep scrathes made by turtle, i think. it comes with a wax pen that u use to fill the hole in colored tints to match most car colors. u then apply their wax over it and presto filled for a decent amount of time. The blue color i got looked pretty good for the suzuka blue.
