How does that work? How do you manage the paint matching?

Kal,check out www.autovisuals.com to answer your questions.I found it very easy to use because unlike a brush the paint comes in a pen type of dispencer making paint flow and control a breeze

Mother's Car Care has a new product called "California Gold Paint Chip Repair" product# 08540 I received their new catalog with the Spa Yellow S2000 on the front recently. It says the product used with matching touch up paint will remove blobs leaving the surface perfectly smooth and looking like new. I e-mailed Mother's Car Care at info@mothers.com to get the catalog. They will answer questions about their products quickly as well. http://www.mothers.com

All the above techniques sound great, but I will share my own nonetheless. I stay away from the brush supplied with the Honda touch up paint. You really don't need globs of paint to fill such a minor chip. Rather, what I do, is ensure first that the car is clean and dry. Next, take some masking tape, and lighty apply it around the chip. Use 4 pieces of tape that overlap each other very nice and tightly in a square, so that the only thing you can see is the rock chip. Then finally, take a tooth pick, or the end of a q-tip with the cotton removed, and apply some paint to the affected area.

By isolating the chip using tape, you ensure that you dont get any paint on the unaffected area of the paint. In addition, the miniscule height created by the thickness of the tape is great in that the paint you fill in the chipped "hole" will, once the tape is removed, be the same height as the factory paint, without beading over as some touch ups do.
Kinda long winded I know, but I hope you get the idea.
Cheers
Asif
