Different story here...
My winshield wipers just came on when I started it up last week and would not turn off. Turned out the whole dash was bad due to electrical issues and had to be replaced. Might be a similar deal. Glad I was still on my warranty.

1. Double check fuse #7 in my picture above. Take it out and look at it carefully or maybe sub another fuse to be sure. Sometimes they're gone and don't even look like it. Make sure it's centered when put back in. Probably not this since you say the hazards work.
2. Could be the signal lever switch in the steering column. How's the headlights. They turn on?

I did check fuse #7 for the turn signals. Nothing broken, I even replaced it with a new fuse. It's a 7.5 volt fuse.

The headlights work. They turn on, thank goodness.

Thanks for your help xviper.

You also might want make sure that the plug on the back of the hazard button is connected... i was messing around with my shifter and had the panel off and unplugged, and the turn signals didn't work (no sound/light).

i have this same problem. but instead i keep burning out the #7 fuse. i ordered a flasher from the dealer but it wont be in for another few days. my hazards work. the strange thing is that my hazard fuse in the engine bay blew out also.

ive gone through over 20 fuses in the past 3 weeks. and i really dont know what to do. if the flasher doesnt solve the problem. im gonna bring it back to the dealer before my warranty is almost up.

i hate this problem. DeeGYM

by the way, i only burn fuses when i signal "right" but its not all the time. it happens in the middle of the day of driving.

Was this issue ever resolved?

I now have the same problem. On the way to work this morning, the turn signals died.

--It's not just a "not blinking" problem; they won't light up at all
--The indicator lights on the dash also don't come on
--I haven't checked the fuses yet because I'm at work and don't have a flashlight handy
--Hazard lights work perfectly
--Horn and lights work fine
--No other symptoms, and nothing's been added or worked on lately
--05 with 4,700 miles.

Any ideas? I'm planning to take it to the dealer, but they seem to be determined to make this as inconvenient for me as possible.

Thanks!

Any root cause determined for this problem yet? Sometime today, I was struck with the issue as well.

here I am 16 years later freaking out while driving amidst my speaker installation thinking I stabbed the wiring harness while routing speaker wire. I just don’t have the center console on.

Exclamation turn signal /flasher fail

My 2003 had a turn signal fail yesterday. Also hazard lights are non-working. Here's what i've tried.
Fuse under dash looked ok, but I replaced anyway.
Fuse under hood looked ok, but I replaced anyway.
Tried to remove turn signal flasher, but was concerned about breaking tabs. So I quit and ordered a new one. Figure I can look at the new and determine how to remove the old.
Parking lights work, tail lights work, brake lights work.
New will be in early tomorrow and hopefully I can get the old out with screwing something up. I am just getting too damn old to contort my body under the dash. Bifocals add to the problem in tight spaces. I will be 75 early next year and I am just too stubborn to let go of this car. Wish me luck. Bottom line ..does this look like a faulty signal flasher?
