I have a problem with my 2000 s2k where the front left indicator light won't work. the right turn signals work normally (both front and back). When i indicate left, the signal on the dash blinks very fast and the rear indicator matches the blinking on the dash, but the front left indicator won't do anything. The hazards work and i check the fuses, but i cannot figure out why it won't work. I checked the bulb and it's connection and they are both fine.

Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

 

Burned out bulb.

 

As i said in my post, i checked the bulb and it's fine, but i'll check it once more in case.

 

A fast blinking sequence is the usual sign of a burned out bulb. What about the side marker light?

 

Yeah dude, it's the bulb. That's what a fast blinker means... How do you know the bulb works fine if you just said that it doesn't work in the front left side? You must have plugged it in on the right side to test then? Anyways, I always thought that fast blinker means burned out bulb. On my previous 3 cars when I would get the fast blinker I just changed the bulb and it worked perfect.

 

Stop taking left turns.
According to the Mythbusters - and Fedex, UPS, etc. - taking right turns only is faster too.

 

I will test the bulb again to make sure.
