Thanks guys for the kind replies. I looked at the wilwood kit from brakezone, but the look of it is really not my cup of tea so I decide to go with brembo. My S is a weekend car and I really want the brembo look as well as a firmer brake pedal feel.

How about Spoon calipers? will they clear my +50 ce28n better?

thanks!

I got my information from Johnss2k who used to run the Brembos with the ce28ns.

does John still have this setup? what tire size was/is he using if you know by any chance? Sorry for all the questions, I thought it'd be kind of rude to just PM him about this since I don't even know John.

The Spoons and Brembos both require pretty much the same size spacer. Do a search about Johnss2k with brakes as the search word. He has had many kits and his favorite is the Stoptech. I know that he has had Wilwood, Spoon, Brembos, and Stoptechs, so he would be the person that knows best. He helped me when i was considering BBK upgrades.

I hear ya. I have the same offsets. What i plan on doing is ordering an extra set of front wheels with 17x7.75 +43 offset so that i can eventually get a set of Spoon calipers. That wont be for a while though. I wish I had ordered the wheels in that offset in the first place. Live and learn.

How large of a spacer and width of tire I will expect to run with a +43 offset volk LE28n?

I believe that the Spoons dont need a spacer with that, but I could be wrong. The biggest you would need would be a 3mm spacer. I would expect to run 215/45 tires depending on your drop. These offsets will not require extended studs though.
