Default Help - Water in my Tail light ! !

Hey again,

Just a quick question? I posted this earlier and did not know how to get into the tail light?? I think a person well known to the posting board said it was pretty easy and NOT like ther front light.

Any tips or hints on how to do this? It has been hot for 2 days (Well 65) and I tried a hair dryer with no success.

HHHEEEELLLLLPPPPP ! ! !

I must say that even though the posters said I should go with another car in a previous post, This S2K is proving to be one of my favorite cars. Tied with my 98 vette I had in 99.

Take care and thanks for the support !

have you taken it to the dealer? if you did and they wont cover it for you, then take off the rear bumper, and work your way up to get to the tail light, then take it apart, i dont know how to do that though...

I bought this 3 weeks ago. It is a 2000 with only 3500 miles on it. This car was kept perfect and used on summer weekends to go to a mans lakehouse.

He purchased the Honda Extended care warranty for 1200 bucks when it was new that is supposed to be a bumper to bumper warranty for 7 yrs or 75k miles.

I was told by the transferring dealer that it was not covered under warranty.

Oh well

Many use the book. I hear it's a PITA to split the tail light.

Good luck.

In my last post there was a member that stated NOT to split the tail lights. Stated there were a few screws etc.
