Default Condensation in tail light

So I'm having an issue on my MY04 where every time it rains a decent amount, I have a tail light full of condensation or a very small amount of water. This was a common problem on the rsx and the tail light gasket was the culprit, so I purchased new tail light gaskets, and I'm still having the same problem. I read in another thread that a guy used a clear RTV all the way around the tail light assembly, which seemed like over kill but being fed up with the issue, I tried anyway. Needless to say, I'm making this thread because that didn't work either and I'm at a loss.

Does anyone know how to stop condensation from getting in your tail lights?

I had that issue, I used RTV where the gap in the trunk lid and fender meet the tail light. That's where water was getting in. In your case it could be a small crack in the tail light cluster. Have you removed it and checked for any hairline cracks all around? That could allow condensation to enter the assembly.

Replace the foam gasket located behind your tail lights. They are fairly cheap from Honda. Don't use silicone yet as you may not have to. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to evaporate the moisture

I took it out to apply the RTV all the way around. I looked over the entire assembly trying to see where it's getting in and I don't see any obvious causes. I also tried cleaning the body of the car where the tail light gasket seals and had no luck there either.

One thing I'm wondering about, is if the vent in the trunk leaking will have anything to do with this. There's a vent under the bumper cover, and I'm pretty sure mine is leaking. I wouldn't think it would cause any issue with the tail light but I'm at a loss at this point.

I've already replaced those. That was my first thought as well.

ok cool, the next step is to see where the water is entering. For me, water was finding its way via the reverse AP2 tail light. It sucks that Honda made the water run off run over the tail lights :/
