Honda will continue to build the car as long as they make a profit. They are also the King of supply and demand. Toyota is also very good at this game. MR2 Spyder sales are down and they are loosing money on this car, so they killed it. The celica is in the same boat. The Prius has at least a 6 month waiting list, so they increased production by 10,000 units. Thats the name of the game with companys that make a profit.

The old big three better start playing the same game soon or the US will be history in the auto world.

Yo US auto makers, WAKE UP Build better cars and get rid of the FAKE rebates. People are getting smarter

Well fellas when I bought the car back in 2000 I was told that the car would only be made for two years and that there were only going to be 5000 cars made a year.
Wait! Are you saying you think your salesman may have lied to you?! That's virtually unheard of.

I was looking through this thread and did not see an answer to one of the questions posted.

Does anyone know how many of each color cars were made each year.

I have a Suzuka blue, and I do not see too many of these on the road--however, due to low production, I do not see too many S2000 on the road in general. This is a ok by me--keeps the car mysterious to others.

New the forum here and I see this is an old thread, but I figured IO would start here in my search for answers.

than the other 13,378 (or however many) must be located in a 12 mile radius of my house in southern California.

it'd be interesting to see a breakdown by region. i would guess >90% of the cars get sold to CA, TX and FL.

Yup, the R&D rep from Honda that met with some of the SFL members says that So Cal and South Florida have the highest sales
