I an planning to get a Honda S2000 in the upcoming months... Anyway I've been reading everything you need to know about the S2000 and it seems to be well covered in the forum. Also I blame you guys for keeping me up til 1 AM these last few days.

Anyway I'm so anxious to get this car I've been wanting one for 3 years. Also I have a question is it just me or is every color on the S2000 sweet? ... I mean, I think every color is great and works well with the S2000. Anyway just wanted to say hi.

 

Are you planning on new or used? Color?

Wow...I think you've waited long enough. Go for it!! And yes, even though we have color wars all the time, all the colors are nice. Let us know when you get yours!

I got mine a few months ago after wanting one when it came out fall of 99. One way it was worth the wait as it is a luxury item and needed to establish the $$ before buying but because I enjoy the car so much was in some ways kicking myself that I didn't buy it sooner.

It sure is nice to enjoy what you have instead of thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the fence

When I saw the S2000 in '99-2000, I knew someday I was going to own one. I didn't know when or how, but I knew I wanted one. Well, here it is about 5 years later and a couple of weeks ago I bought an Red '01 with 8K miles on it. Let me tell you..... it was worth the wait! The fact that I live in Missouri, the weather has been so lousy and cold here that I have only driven it twice since I got it. I hate not driving it, but I love not having to drive it in this terrible weather, because it is a second car. Have fun everyone.

Thanks for the comments... Anyway I am planning on buying a used '02 or '03. And as I said I like all the colors so it just depends on which is a better deal.

 

buying used is a good idea. you will save a ton on depreciation vs new.

an 02 is a good idea as it will probably still qualify for the honda extended warranty.

You will love the car! It is an absolute blast. Two years later and I still smile everytime I look at it in the garage. It is my favorite car that I've ever owned. It'll be a long time until it gets replaced....

And when the newness wears off the performance and handling, there's always FI!
