Hello everyone,
just want to say this forum rocks!
I don't have a s2000 yet, no dealer here is selling for msrp.
But i did go to Mile high Honda and the guy wanted 34500 for it what do u guys think? lease payments would run me 478 a month not including insurance. i've been wanting a S2000 for so long now, but it seems inpossible to find one for msrp unless it is use and i am stuck on the silver on black, if anyone is in this area anything would help, and if anyone on this forum is 23 and would give me an idea of insurance for this car that would help to.
thanks a bunch guys
Danny

might want to check the group buy/for sale forum of this site every few days. dealerships will post their s2000's for just under MSRP (required) there. also, just wait for the color scheme you want, don't just settle for what is there for the jacked up price they are selling it for.

Keep shopping Danny! They are avail at MSRP. Paying over MSRP is just palin extorsion. It's easy for me to say, as my dealer, in NH, sells them for that, so I was lucky. I'm sure you don't want to fly all the way here and drive it home. But if you do, post again and I'll give you their name, as they have a Silver/blk with 700 miles that the manager was driving. Should go for $500, or more, below MSRP. I test drove it today with my wife, and it's great looking, and drives perfectly.

Check Ebay Danny, they always have several S2Ks at or below MSRP. Welcome.

Just to give you an idea for insurance pricing... I'm 22, clean record, student discount, also have homeowners... I pay $122 a month with State Farm. Hope this helps....

If you don't mind a few miles on them Carmax (www.carmax.com) seems to have a steady supply, most below MSRP (though some are above). I've seen them there with less than 2k miles.

Happy hunting

Danny...I got mine at Ralph Schomp Honda at MSRP. The waiting list is 4 mos but it's worth it. As for insurance, try calling Safeco. I paid $1100/yr, with a speeding ticket and mult car discount. Good luck.

Danny, picked mine up at Elway on 104th. They were asking $5,000 over. I ended up paying $1,000 over (No haggle pricing...yeah right). I was ok with that as it would have cost me the $1,000 to transport it from the east coast to Denver. So, yes you can find them at MSRP (I found a few in NY and a few in Penn), but then you need to consider the cost of getting it here.

Upallnight is correct. Ralph Schomp does sell them at MSRP. Mine name is still on the list.
