I just installed the Proflow high flow throttle body. The install went smoothly and after a few miles to let the computer adjust it runs and idles fine BUT the check engine light stays on. Tried resetting the ECM by pulling fuse but no help. Talked to Jim at Proflow and he is puzzled. His only thought was to check o-ring on MAP sensor which I did. Anybody have any ideas?

cmnsnse, I followed the installation instuctions and set resistance on the TPS to the same value as it was on my throttle body. Can you explain about the voltage. Is this covered in the Helm Manual? Prolene, yes I know I removed the proper fuse.
Thanks for all your best wishes and help.

Hey,
If the tps voltage is within spec and you can't find any other causes then you are going to have to pull the trouble code to see what's wrong with it. Probably means a visit to the dealer.
does the car still run ok?

My voltage was slightly off at Idle but dead on at WOT so I left it like that, had the ol' Idle blurbs but then it was fine and never got a check engine light. Maybe you got a bad MAP sensor?
