I'm in San Diego as well and I couldn't find one for MSRP around here. So I decided to look for one out of state. I checked the various dealers in San Diego and the LA area. Most were charging over MSRP. I just finished up all the paperwork to get mine (being delivered as we speak)...appears that an Irvine Dealership (if I recall correctly) has a Silver 2001 that they are willing to part with for MSRP. Might want to check the dealerships in that area. If you can't find one look East...I ordered mine from an Ohio Honda Dealership...Hopefully it'll be here any day now.

Check out http://www.s2000sforsale.com

Hope to see another (two I guess) S2000s in San Diego.
Mine is Red with red seats and block interior. I live at UTC and drive down south to Coronado and Balbo about twice a week for golf.
Wave if you see me. As far as I know I am the only S2000 in San Diego with red seats.

Peter's Honda in Nashua, NH (603-886-9300) has Yellow/Black & Silver/Black. I think they sold the sivler though. Both have been on the showroom floor for 2 weeks and will be gone soon. I bought mine there and they will work with you.

Hell, take a vacation and drive it home. What away to get to know the car and get through the breakin period.

I just called another local dealer today, and they had three S2000 in stock. I told them I will pay MSRP and buy it TODAY if they can sell it at MSRP. They said no, so I said goodbye. (They were asking $39,900) It's not like they only had ONE S2000, they had THREE! Oh well, it's their loss..

BTW, how much would it cost to transport car from a east coat to west cost?

hmmm, transport costs might run you just over a grand. I'd get something in a neighboring state. but not entirely across country. but wherever it may be, we'll find you one!

what color are you interested in getting?

.....no need to respond as you all know my position. MSRP is relative. They can more the make it up on the interest rate of the loan and your trade in....so pay cash or watch your six.
