I heard about the price gouging going on when the S2000 first came out, and I was wondering...Is it possible to get an S2000 at MSRP (around 32000)? I wanna get one, but if it's impossible to get one around MSRP then I may have to settle for a Prelude or MR2 Spyder =( sigh

It's possible, just look around. Local dealers can be punks! Btw. the S2000 blows either of those cars away by a longshot.

Thanks for the responses guys! I guess it's just a matter of having the patience to find one at MSRP. And I definitely have time to search cuz i'm planning on buying an 03 when I graduate from college.

The short answer to your question is "yes" ... the long answer is that that "yes" includes a bit of diligence on your part to hunt it out. It definitely can be done...I have done it (twice!) ....

Call all your local dealers, then when you exhaust them, start searching on a regional basis. You can do it...

Get it before April, so you can join us at the first national S2000 event in Asheville, NC the weekend of the 27th.

Good luck!
