HID alignment problem after front-end repair
Back in August of 2005, a Suburban backed into my MY2003 S2000's front passenger side and I had to have the passenger side HID unit replaced. Since I had about 50k miles on the car, the assembly was sand-blasted a bit from lots of highway driving so I had the driver side HID unit replaced as well.
Anyway, ever since the body shop put them in, both cutoff lines (especially towards the right) are not well defined at all and blurry. I thought perhaps they didn't aim it correctly, so I raised the passenger beam using a long philips driver.
This is how both HID units are supposed to shine
their lights _________

But upon further inspection, not only do both beams not line up on top of each other, both beams have a "frown" to them (they taper down the further away from the center) as opposed to the flat lines that are supposed to be parallel to the ground. So it seems I have 2 issues.
The only adjustment that can be done with the lights is the vertical tilt with a long ass screwdriver. How would you adjust the rotational and the horizontal tilting? I would imagine that after a crash/accident, Honda would have made allowances for minor adjustments, unless they expect the frame to be 100% dead on perfect. Or maybe both light housings bolt in to one solid piece of metal that runs across the front of the car (rulling out frame imperfections)? Anyone know? Besides this alignment issue, how would I tackle the frowning problem?
Did anyone else ever experience this problem especially after having the front end fixed? Before the hit, both beams were super sharp, sat right on top of each other, and were parallel to the ground. I'm heading over to the body shop next week and would be nice if I could give them suggestions on how to correct this. Do front end accidents always result in PITA HID issues after repair work is done?
Thanks in advance.

All because of a Suburban backing into me in a parking lot.

were the lights aftermarket? Does the estimate for the repairs say a/m next to the part description?
Why are the beam patterns causing frowns?

I'm not sure. Before i had my accident, which didnt even affect the headlight but i guess to do the repair work it had to be removed, my cut-off was much more defined and the offest b/w the lower left side and the higher right side was bigger than what it is now, which looks exactly like the pic SiDriver shows here.
