Default HID Problem

I only have like 970 miles on my car and I noticed that after my lights are on for more than a couple of minute my Bluish/Purple HID lights turn to just bright bright white.... anyone else experience this.. is it normal... are people seeing them as blue form far away... i walked across the street and took a look and they were white... everything they shined on was purple though...... somone please help me out.. thanks..

This normal in my experience. The HID's are supposed to be a super high intensity white light, so white that it has a bluish glow to it.

Yes, this is normal ... It takes awhile for the beam to discharge completely at full output. When you just turn it on, the beam is definitely blue or purple while slowly moving up to sunlight white at full discharge. If you do it without the engine running, you can hear the discharge making a low humming sound as well. That is also normal, it's the wattage converter doing it's work to bring you those wonderful lights.

so are our lights blue to others or are they just white like imitation HID???

It's actually almost the level of sunlight discharge ... From far, it looks like alot of colors, mainly blue, purple or pink sometimes. Once it gets close ... It becomes very pure white and very powerfully bright, not those rice blue coated halogen bulbs that have not even bright at all with a blueish type of output that shows nothing but crap.
