Allright. THe other night, I got in and turned on the lights. The driver side light started to glow a very warm orange/red. Was very pretty! After about 30 seconds, after it didn't self-correct, I turned off the lamps and back on. Seemed to fix itself but ever since then, my driver's side lamp is very blue (right John?). Anyway, I am pretty sure it is the bulb itself but what does it take to replace? Do they have to remove the housing to change out bulbs or is rear-entry? Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried reaching in there last night... souldn't be too hard to get to. The "problem" is that teh bulb isn't going to be cheap... atleast $100.

$146.25 to be exact... that's from Majestic Honda (definitely one of the best place for Genuine Honda parts)...

Are you sure that the orangy color wasn't due to one of your high beam lights being on when it wasn't supposed to be? I was suprised, the first time I used my high beams, at how orangy it makes the light look. Try turning on your high beams and see if that's the same thing you saw.

Lips,

You might also want to consider the ballast...it's the same setup as fluorescent lamps, they need a quick high-energy boost to start kicking out photons. I'm sure you've seen a fluorescent lamp when the ballast starts to go flakey...the light flickers, sometimes it only comes on half brightness...a couple flicks of the switch sometimes corrects it. Either way, it's going to be one or two C-notes to fix it (unless it was operator error ).

Thanks for all the replies. Can you spell W-A-R-R-A-N-T-Y?? This is definetly going to be covered. I was just curious b/c if they just have to replace the bulb, then it takes 20 minutes and I'll wait for it. If the entire housing needs to be removed, that takes hours and I won't wait. Plus I may not let them do it b/c I don't want them to screw something else up! Thanks again.
