Within the last two months I had my right headlight replaced. One night I was driving home from work and started noticing heavy flickering. I thought maybe it's normal and that I never noticed it before (stupid me)

When I got home I turned them on and off and they went back to normal, so I thought maybe they were particular as to how I turn them on.

The next time I drove, I noticed the light was out completely. I took it to the dealer and it took them 3 days to replace. Really pissed me off.

Seems like some Honda dealers don't know how to even service the S2000s. I brought it in and they told me it would take one day to fix. That night they called me and told me the headlight would take another day. The following day, another day.

Finally on the 3rd day I got my baby back. Anyone else already have problems with the factory headlights?

it probably did only take one day to fix. I bet they were waiting for the replacement HID light for 3 days.

No, they had the part because I made an appointment and I saw the parts because I had to come back for my garage remote.

I hope you checked you mileage to make sure someone at the dealership wasn't enjoying the use of your baby for three days.

My left HID has sometimes failed to illuminate. Anyone else getting that?

I turn the switch, they both come on initially bright, then dimmer, then gradually brighten, all over a period of maybe 5 seconds. But once in a while the drivers side one goes out after the initial on.

I'd take it in just to get looked at.

This time I made a request. "NO FIELD TEST!"

Everytime I take it in seems like someone wants to do a field test. I took it to Long Beach Honda. Two (2) times they decided to do some extensive field test. Appearantly somebody thought that oil changes require a 10+ mile road test. I picked it up with grease on the stereo cover, my presets changed on my stereo, and to top things off I noticed rock chips. I complained and they denied everything. Finally my wife called (SHE RAISED HELL) but all they did was appoligize and tell me they would discipline the technician. Like that would compensate me, right?

When I first bought mine, it was in the show room (DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP) so I noticed some scratches. The had me bring it in and leave it a day. Appearantly Honda had to ROAD TEST again. "Gotta make sure that the S2000 still is in driving condition after being detail".

I don't like having to make special requests, but some ppl can't resist the urge to test drive the car. If it's legitimate like a major service I understand, but washing and detailing? Come on...

One of my headlights would occasionally flicker or not ignite, and eventually got dimmer and died completely. The dealer replaced it in an hour, once the part was in. They had to put the car on the lift to replace it. It's a $200 part, so they probably don't keep it in stock.
