don't you all hear that high pitched chirp that comes at a certain sweet spot between the gas pedal position and the rpms? i'm just curious as to what it is. i know other S2000s have this because i've even heard it on S2000s passing me by.

 

Yeah, I have it too. Sound's like it's coming from the differential, though. I dunno....anybody else? (MY01)

 

if you have an AEM intake it does that because of a slit in between the tube of the intake. not sure if other intakes have it

my stock one is really loud

no this is not from the intake. it's like a vibration, but one that mkes a high pitched chirp

 

What you described is the intake chirp.

Part throttle in any gear, at any speed I can make this sound.

 

Sounds like a whistle, maybe 3k rpm at part throttle, sounds like a high-pitched whistle?...
